  1. Day 1: Vientiane Arrival.

    Welcome to Vientiane, Laos’ capital, an old French colonial trading post. This city is both abundant in French architecture as well as beautiful, ornate Buddhist temples. Even though it is the country’s largest city, it has not lost its friendly and laid back character.
    Meet your guide and we drive to hotel for check in (check in time: 14:00).
    Meals: Not Available.
    Accommodation: Hotel in Vientiane.

  2. Day 2: Vientiane City Tour – Fly to Luang Prabang.

    Today we will take a city tour to explore the most highlight of Vientiane. Start with Wat Sisaket the city ‘s oldest surviving temple with thousands of silver and porcelain images in the gloriously authentic temple compound that offers you a glimpse into the Vientiane of the past. Next is the visit Pha That Luang, the giant golden stupa is a sight to see as the bright gold holds a sharp contrast to the pure blue sky. Then you will go to climb the Arc De Triomphe of Laos, Patuxai. The massive arch has a beautiful mosaic tiled ceiling and once at the top you can see for miles around Vientiane.
    We take a flight to Luang Prabang, profoundly influenced by the French, unquestionably earns the title of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, this exquisite town in Laos is not to be missed under any circumstances. Situated on the peninsula formed by the Mekong and the Nam Khan River, Luang Prabang is a perfect spot to unwind, eat good food and enjoy the scenery.

  3. Day 3: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Caves – City Tour.

    This morning you will wake up early (05:30 AM) and take participate in the daily early morning ritual of saffron-clad monks with their black Alms-giving bowls being given offerings from the local people, including the ubiquitous sticky rice. Back to hotel for breakfast.
    Take a morning cruise along the Mekong River, about two hours upstream from the centre of Luang Prabang to discover the numerous Buddha images at Pak Ou Caves. Pak Ou (mouth of the Ou river) includes the Tham Ting (lower cave) and the Tham Theung (upper cave) are caves overlooking the river. It is then only a short distance from the caves to the village of Ban Xang Hai to learn about LauLao (Lao whisky) and LauHai (Lao wine). Before returning the old town we stop to visit Ban Xang Khong where the Lue peoples of this village are noted in particular for their arts and crafts.
    We begin afternoon with Royal Palace Museum, was built in 1904 during the French colonial era for King Sisavang Vong and his family. Then head to the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong – Representative of classic Laotian architecture. Later that day, we adjourn to the Phousi hill to enjoy the marvelous panoramic views of the town at sunset.

  4. Day 4 :Luang Prabang – Kuang Si waterfall – Fly to Hanoi.

    This morning, start our trip by the visit to morning Phosi Market where you will see such diverse offerings as dried buffalo skin, local tea and saltpeter among the chickens, vegetables and hill-tribe weaving.
    Laos is also known for its traditional crafts, and today you will take soft trek to visit the Ban Ouay, Hmong Hill tribe and Ban Ou, Lowland Lao.
    Continue driving to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfall where you can splash around in the pools or walk along the forest paths. You are free to visit the Bear Rescue Centre which relies solely on partners, corporate sponsors and donations from the public. Back to the old town for a flight to Hanoi, meet your guide and transfer to hotel to check in.

  5. Day 5: Hanoi City Tour.

    Today you have a full day to explore Vietnam’s charming capital. With its wide tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and ancient oriental pagodas; Hanoi is an eclectic mix that offers something for everyone. Your city tour will take you to Hanoi’s key sites: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and stilt house), the nearby One Pillar Pagoda; the Presidential Palace; the Temple of Literature; the Quan Thanh Temple, the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda & West Lake; and one of the city's museums (a choice between the History Museum and the Ethnology Museum). Later in the afternoon, enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Performance – A unique Vietnamese art form hailing from Southeast Asia’s wet-rice culture.

  6. Day 6: Hanoi – Halong Bay.

    09:00: Private car will pick you at hotel for 2.5 hour driving to Ha Long bay.
    Embark to Hera vessel with Signature homemade welcome drink upon arrival.
    13:00 Cruise Manager’s Safety Briefing on the dining area (3rd deck).
    13:15 – 14:30 Lunch featured A La Carte menu enjoyed by Hanoi intellectuals in the period of 1910-30 at Lily restaurant.
    15:45 – 17:00 You could choose one out of two options as bellow.
    Optional choices:
    Option 1: Visit Cua Van floating fishing village by sampan boat or by kayaking.
    Option 2: Visit Tien Ong cave.
    17:00 – 17:45 Enjoy 28 varieties of dishes on Hera Kisses Afternoon Tea Set at Lotus lounge.
    17:45 Afternoon Tea with the chef at Iris restaurant.
    19:30 Dinner with A La Carte menu followed personalized care – Floating village theme.
    Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
    Accommodation: Private cabin on board.

  7. Day 7: Halong Bay – Hanoi.

    06:15 – 06:45 Start your day with Tai Chi class on the sundeck (Wake-up Call request is also available at the reception).
    06:45 – 07:30 Selective healthful breakfast, especially beneficial juices and detox drinks served by organic and local ingredients at Iris restaurant.
    07:30 – 08:30 You could choose one out of options as bellow.
    Optional choices:
    Option 1: Visit Sung Sot cave, the biggest and the most beautiful cave in Ha Long bay with 720 steps (hiking shoes or sandals are highly recommended).
    Option 2: Visit Soi Sim Island for hiking and swimming. Towels are provided.
    Option 3: Visit Luon cave for bamboo boat or kayaking.
    (For kayaking, shorts or swimming suit are recommended.)
    09:00 – 09:30 Regular check-out time (if you have any heavy luggage just put outside of your cabins; settles your bills at the reception counter).
    09:30 – Full brunch buffet followed Vietnamese typical countryside markets theme while cruising back to main port.
    10:45 – 11:00 Disembark Hera vessel. Transfer to Hanoi by private car. Check in hotel and relax.

  8. Day 8: Hanoi Departure.

    Depart early from the hotel to the airport to catch your departure flight home.
