  1. Day 01: Vientiane Arrival

    Sabaidee! Welcome to Vientiane – Charming capital of Laos.
    Upon arrival, you will be picked up at the airport and transfer to hotel for checking-in.
    The rest of the day is for free at leisure.
    Accommodation: Hotel in Vientiane.

  2. Day 02: Vientiane – Phou Hin Boun National Park – Ban Tiou Village

    In the morning, our guide will accompany you to drive south along the Road 13 to Thakhek. En route, we will make a stop at ancient Wat Prabath Phonsane, a temple of the Footprint of Buddha. Then go on our trip to visit the Phou Hin Poun NPA (National Protected Area) where you will have a view of the spectacular landscape with limestone, forests and rice paddies. After that, we will head to Ban Tiou Village and the rest of the time is free for you to explore this village by yourself.
    Meal: Breakfast.
    Accommodation: Spring River Resort (basic Bungalow).

  3. Day 03: Ban Tiou Village – Kong Lor Cave – Ban Tiou Village

    After breakfast, our guide will escort you to take a sampan ride to Kong Lor Cave, inside of which you can admire flowing river, the peculiar stalactites and stalagmites in the boat or on foot, and then get out of the cave from the other side and take a walk to the villages nearby. Later we will head back to Ban Tiou Village to rest.
    Meal: Breakfast.

  4. Day 04: Ban Tiou Village – Mahaxai cave (4 caves) – Savanakhet

    Wake up early in the morning for transferring to Savannakhet. On the way, visit Mahaxai Cave scattered with the limestone and many other karst formations. Upon arrival Savannakhet, you will visit That Ing Hang and Bungva Lake. After that, our guide will escort you to check in at the hotel in Savannakhet, a quiet and tropical old town.

  5. Day 05: Savannakhet – Pakse

    By comfortable vehicle, our guide will escort you to Pakse where the Mekong River and the Se Don River meets. After checking in at the hotel, you can take a leisurely walk around this special town.

  6. Day 06: Pakse – Wat Phou Ruins

    This morning you will visit Talad Dao Heuang market then transfer to Wat Phou ruins. Until the 1860s, Champasak was the major town of southern Laos, however French-built Pakse eventually replaced it as the area's commercial hub. Nearby Wat Phou, a UNESCO World Heritage temple is all that remains of one of Southeast Asia's most mysterious and least understood kingdoms. The Hindu-influenced Wat Phou ruins is the finest example of Khmer temple ruins outside Cambodia, and little has changed since French explorers first visited the site in the late 1800s. This site was once the nexus of the Khmer Kingdom which spanned over much of present-day Southeast Asia.
    Back to the town and visit Phou Salao to admire the panoramic view of Pakse.

  7. Day 07: Pakse – Bolaven Plateau

    Depart for the Bolavens Plateau, a mountainous region home to dozens of hill tribes, waterfalls and coffee and tea plantations. Your first stop is at Tad Lo Waterfalls, a beautiful formation of three separate falls. From the bridge you will first see Tad Hang and then Tad Lo in the distance. The most impressive of the three, Tad Suong, is located a further 10km upriver. After exploring the falls and their surroundings continue through the Plateau.
    This afternoon, continue to Tad Yuang and Tad Fane waterfalls. Tad Fane is a set of twin 120-meter high waterfalls formed by the merging waters of the Champy and Pak Koot rivers. These impressive falls are situated on the edge of Dong Hua Sao protected area, 38 km from Paksé. (Note: water level may vary accordingly to the previous rainy season).
    We will stop to visit a tea and/or a coffee plantation. Laos is known for its famous coffee, the majority of which is grown here on the Bolaven Plateau. A visit to one of the plantations will show you the process of planting, harvesting and roasting these delicious beans.
    Transfer to Done Khong in late afternoon.

  8. Day 08: 4000 Island Surrounding

    After enjoy the breakfast, you will check out the room and then take the long tail boat down stream of Mekong River to Don Khone. From here, take motorized tuk tuk to see the remains of the sole railway built by the French during their time as colonial occupiers, followed by vibrant Li Phi Falls. Come back to Nagasang boat pier where the car and driver will wait for you transfer to the most beautiful fall: Khone Phapheng Fall – The largest fall in Southeast Asia in terms of water volume. The falls had a profound effect on the planned use of the Mekong River as a French trade conduit connecting Vietnam with China, and resulted in the construction of the bypass railway joining Khone and Det islands.

  9. Day 09: Elephant Jungle Safari

    You will start in the morning from the village of Kiet Ngong and, through paddy fields and wetlands, you will be led inside the jungle that surrounds the area.
    From the top of your elephant you will have a particular point of view of the dry dipterocarp forest that characterize Xe Pian protected area, you will experience the jungle environment while cicadas and birds sounds will accompany you along the way.
    After two to three hours of ride (depending on trail and weather conditions), in proximity of a stream you will step down from your elephants and, after let them be free to feed in the forest, you will have your picnic lunch.
    After resting and watching the elephants roaming around in search for food, you will continue your jungle safari on the way back to the village; arrival is expected between 15:00 and 16:00.

  10. Day 10: Pakse Departure

    You will have free time before be picked up and transfer to airport for departure flight.
    Meals: Breakfast.
