  1. Day 1: Chiang Rai Arrival.

    Welcome to Thailand! Upon arrival Chiang Rai airport, you will be picked up and transfer to hotel for checking in.
    The rest of the day is for free at leisure.
    Accommodation: hotel in Chiang Rai.

  2. Day 2: Chiang Rai – Chiang Khong – Huay Xai – Luang Namtha.

    This morning, you will wake up early, to transfer to Laos – Thai border.
    Within the Mekong region, the capital of the Lao province of Bokèo, Huay Xai is an important border crossing point with neighboring Chiang Khong, Thailand and was thus chosen as the ideal departing port for your trip to Laos.
    After be picked up in border, you will be transfer to Luang Namtha. Along the way, stop for taking photos.

  3. Day 3: Luang Namtha Trekking Tour.

    In the early morning you are likely to hear many kinds of animals communicating with one another, such as: bears, monkeys, barking deer, gibbons, wild pigs, and jungle fowl from the higher mountain tops. You might be very fortunate if you spot some moving through the forest. Before breakfast, early risers are free to take a walk around the camp. (Please, be always mindful about the dos and don’ts in these fragile cultures, ask your guide if you are not too sure what is correct).
    After breakfast, prepared by our guide, you’ll cross the Nam Ha River and walk through fields, next you’ll get to visit Ban Nalan, where your will learn about Khmu lifestyle, culture, and traditions. Then there is a hike uphill through forest. Traditional lunch will be prepared en-route on the forest path. Thereafter, you will have an easy two-hour hike down the mountain slope until you arrive at the Ban Chalernsouk, where your driver will be waiting for you and shuttle you back to Luang Namtha.

  4. Day 4: Luang Namtha – Oudomxay.

    Driving southeast, you will pass through more beautiful countryside and arrive in Nam Kat Yorla Pa resort, a remote area deep in the heart of northern Laos. Tonight is spent in a lovely resort.

  5. Day 5: Nam Kat Yorla Pa Free at Leisure.

    Full day for free at leisure. You can contact to hotel to arrange some tour discover surrounding area.

  6. Day 6: Oudomxay – Nong Khiaw.

    Continuing through northern Laos, today you will reach the riverside community at Nong Khiaw. Stay in a stilted wooden bungalow on the banks of the River Ou.
    Meals: Breakfast.

  7. Day 7: Nong Khiaw – Muang Ngoi – Nong Khiaw.

    We leave Nong Khiaw at 8:30 am and cruise up the river via a traditional long boat. Along the way, we stop off to visit several different ethnic villages. We actually pass straight through Muang Ngoi at first and pay the village of Ban Sop Jam a visit. This village is famous for its traditional Lao silk and cotton weaving, here you can purchase some beautiful textiles if you wish.
    After spending some time in the village, we turn around and return back downstream to Muang Ngoi. Upon arrival, we take some time to have a break and a coffee before heading off on a small trek which takes us through some gorgeous scenery consisting of limestone cliffs, mountains and rice paddy fields.
    Along the trek, we visit a historical cave which was used as bomb shelter by the local during the second Indochina war. Upon returning back to Muang Ngoi we board our boat for the cruise back down the river whilst watching the beautiful sunset over Nong Khiaw, arriving back just before dark.

  8. Day 8: Nong Khiaw – 100 Waterfall – Luang Prabang.

    We’ll start the day with a boat ride on the Nam Ou to a small village where you can learn about the way of life along this river. Then we’ll trek through small streams and rice paddies to reach the base of the 100 waterfalls. The next few hours you will see only water and jungle and hear the sound of clear waterfall cascades. The pools around you are very inviting for a refreshing splash.
    Your guide will lead you through the cascades and prepare a local style lunch on the falls in the middle of it all. Then we’ll take a small villagers’ trail from the top of the falls back down into the valley; along the way, you’ll take in views of the landscapes of the Nam Ou valley.
    Hiking back to the village, we’ll have more time to observe the daily life here before heading back back by a small boat to Nong Khiaw.
    Later of this day, transfer back to Luang Prabang.

  9. Day 9: Luang Prabang – Pakou Caves.

    Following breakfast at the hotel, we will visit the former king’s palace, which is now a museum – Royal museum. The many items nicely displayed include rare furniture, traditional costumes, arts, jewelry, ornaments as well as working tools and utensils of the early part of the 20th century.We then board a boat upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine. Later that day, we adjourn to the Phousi Holy Hill to enjoy the marvelous panoramic views of the town at sunset.

  10. Day 10: Luang Prabang – Khuang Si Waterfall – Fly to Vientiane.

    Wake up before dawn to witness the long lines of orange-robed monks leaving their pagodas to receive offerings of food from the residents of Luang Prabang. It’s a fantastic experience and for many a highlight of their visit to this iconic city.
    Then you will visit the Phosi Market where you will see such diverse offerings such as dried buffalo skin, local tea and saltpeter among the chickens, vegetables and hill-tribe weaving. Laos is also known for its traditional crafts, and today you will visit the Ban Ouay, Hmong Hill tribe, Ban Ou, Lowland Lao and Ban Thapene of Khmu village. Continue driving to the beautiful Khouang Si Waterfall where you can splash around in the pools or walk along the forest paths.
    The last site is Wat Xieng Thong, the Golden City Monastery, which dates back to the 16th century and is considered to be the finest in Laos.
    Later of this day, transfer to airport for your flight to Vientiane.

  11. Day 11: Vientiane City Tour.

    Today we have a full day to explore Vientiane  The charming and fascinating capital of Laos, one of the classic Indochinese cities which conjure up exotic images, with its intriguing mix of Lao, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, French, American and Soviet influences. Our visit will take you to the key sites: Wat Sisaket – The city ‘s oldest surviving temple with thousands of silver and porcelain images in the gloriously authentic temple compound that offers you a glimpse into the Vientiane of the past, the next stop is Haw Phra Kaeo. This large temple is beautiful both interior and exterior, it was built to house the famed Emerald Buddha in courtyards filled with frangipani trees. Then stop at the older part of Morning market is recommended before the visit Pha That Luang. The giant golden stupa is a sight to see as the bright gold holds a sharp contrast to the pure blue sky. Next you will go to climb the Arc De Triomphe of Laos, Patuxai. The massive arch has a beautiful mosaic tiled ceiling and once at the top you can see for miles around Vientiane.

  12. Day 12: Vientiane Departure.

    You will have free time before transferring to airport for your flight back to home.
