My husband and I choose Asia Travel for a two week trip to northern Laos after comparing them with 2 other companies. Asia travel understood best what my husband and I wanted, respected our proposed budget, and built us an active trip that was appropriate for our age, budget and interests. We requested some free days to do our own thing and that worked out well too. Our guides were all wonderful and culturally sensitive and informed about the area. Our river boat down the Mekong was with a local Laos company that made interesting stops, had excellent food and was really comfortable and friendly. (English speaking). We liked all our hotels and activities. Most importantly communication with Asia travel and our guides was always quick and responsive. All the logistics went super smoothly. We used a woman Binh Yen who designed our trip and was our contact person. She was excellent. She even is helping me get my Kindle reader back which I left at a hotel in Luang Prabang. I would not hesitate to recommend Asia travel which has local branches In Laos, Vietnam , Thailand (maybe other countries too )

This is to encourage everyone who has the option to book with this travel company, their attentiveness and professionalism are truly on another level. Ms. My Linh is such a wonderful guide. She will take you to all the places you must see in Laos, and she also knows her way around cities in Vietnam. For a very decent price, you will get everything you could hope for when traveling to an adventure in Laos. You don't have a care in the world other than having fun, eat well and take beautiful pictures.

We are a couple, we traveled in Laos 20/4 /25 to 02/5/25 we won the Laos Travel company. Dzung Vu was very kind, attentive to our needs. We got an excellent vehicle. Van 9 seats / 11 seats. We were unusually comfortable. The guides with a lot of knowledge and sensitivity were excellent. Everything flowed in the best way. For those who have not traveled in Laos yet, we highly recommend! It turns out that the more we were there, the more we fell in love with it. We recommend the "Laos Travel" company that allowed us to experience Laos in the best way.

Here I would like to focus my feedback on the sales team and back room office. In particular, my review is about Ms Vicky Phan.My research on a private trip to ChiangMai, ChiangRai then to Laos began in 2019, pre Covid times. Yes 5 years ago! Covid struck, everyone was stuck and vacationing was dead. Planning the holiday was put on hold.In the 5 years, Vicky patiently kept in touch as I did. The minute the travel doors opened, I was back with Vicky via emails trying to restart my plans for this trip. To cut the story short after hundreds of emails between us we finally tied the vacation strings and we made it to Laos.Beside patience, she was very responsive to my emails questions and worked out the changes I need without any issues. I would get a response usually within the hour of sending. She gave me the feeling that I was her VIP customer which made me feel really good! (Even though I wasn’t a big spender).During the course of the 2 weeks of the trip, Vicky was with me all the way, providing the various guides contacts, responding to my questions as needed. This was just special knowing the Sales doesn’t just leave us after closing a deal but was there every time.To Vicky Phan, thank you so much for your kind support and actions.

We booked our Laos trip (Plain of Jars from Luang Prabang) through Mary D. She was awesome and extremely helpful throughout the booking process and during the trip. Our guide and driver were great. Our driver had the toughest time in the damaged areas of the road. He drove with caution and made us feel safe. I highly recommend this trip, even though the roads are rough - to experience of the beautiful country of Laos, the mysterious Plain of Jars, the spectacular country side, the lovely people, and the great food, all makes it worth it.

My wife and I wanted to go on a tour of Laos from North to South. We went on a personalized tour with Laos Travel called the Laos Discovery Tour for approx 2 weeks. We had a fantastic time starting with the tour being designed for us by Hong Nguyen. (we are a newly retired couple.) The guides and drivers were excellent who spoke very good English. The accommodation was as expected, if not better, and the itinerary was matched perfectly to our need and ability. No exciting adventure stuff for us. We don't have any negative points to say about our holiday and may use Laos Travel for another holiday in the region in the future.

Nga Vu at Asia travel arranged a great 7 day tour of North Laos via Laos travel. Shompoo cruise to Pakbeng then car with driver and guide to Oudomxay province- and on via small hill tribe villages and a trek to a Khmu village and waterfall, homestay at Muang Soune ( Kham’s- was brilliant) and on to Luang Prabang. Our guide Sit was so kind and knowledgeable. Learned so much about Khmu , Hmong and Lao Lue tribes and visited lots of small villages. Sampled great local food, stopped at markets to see local produce and crafts, visited weaving villages, swimming, fishing and exploring rice paddies et the homestay…It was fascinating, the country beautiful and the people do kind and welcoming.

Mr Tuan Phan from Laos Travel [Asia Travel and Leisure] organized a close to 2 week private tour to Laos and Vietnam for us, and everything went great! From the moment I first contacted him a year before our trip to the conclusion of our trip, he always replied back quickly whether via email or WhatsApp text. The price he quoted us was great, better than the prices of other companies I had also contacted. He was an excellent organizer of everything, basically we just told him when we will arrive and when our flight home is, and asked him to "fill up" our days there with great programs, which he indeed did! Not only that, but he was always contactable via WhatsApp, and he proactively checked even on those things which he did not actually book for us! For instance, he called our hotel in Hanoi to make sure that a car service I had booked myself through the hotel, was properly booked. It was so reassuring to know that with any question during our stay in Laos and Vietnam we could just text him and he replied/took care of the issue immediately. He selected the best, very knowledgeable tour guides for us - Mr Paseuth Visounnalath in Vientiane and Van Vieng, and Mr Siththai in Luang Prabang. They were both amazing guides, with wonderful personalities, vast and impressive knowledge of history, Laos culture including Buddhism. We greatly enjoyed not just listening to them but talking to them about various aspects of life. We very quickly felt like we have become friends. They both always immediately replied to our WhatsApp texts even after the day tours were concluded. They were always punctual, always there before our meeting times. Our drivers were all very skilled, but very safe professional drivers, they were always fully focused on the road, we always felt perfectly safe in their cars. The hotels Mr Phan arranged for us were the best in those cities (Vientiane, Van Vieng, Luang Prabang), whilst being affordable. We were very pleasantly surprised that in all 3 hotels without asking we got upgraded to the best room - in the latter two: to suites. Taken together, I wholeheartedly recommend Mr Tuan Phan's services. Thanks to his perfect organizing of our complex trip, every step of our private tour was perfect.
